I can hold on longer than you think. It wasn't my brush with death that took me to the brink, it was contemplating life as I spent another evening stood over the kitchen sink. And the knowledge that if I had died, you would barely have blinked. I wouldn't do anything for you now, feeling anything for you is something my shattered heart will no longer allow. I've got to move on and I've got to hope time will show me how.
